Media Day at CES 2025: Where Car Companies Don't Talk About Cars
While most attendees descend on Las Vegas Monday night or Tuesday morning, our team arrived early on Sunday to cover CES media days. Jeffrey Hannah and Andrew Wilcsyznski attended CES Unveiled on Sunday night, where companies such as SteerLight, Okular Logistics, Vox AI, SQ-Motors France, AutoVR, and Strutt caught our team’s eye.
CES 2025 Opening Day: We're Gonna Need More FLOPS
Our team took to the expo halls first thing Tuesday morning to canvas all things automotive and mobility at CES 2025 where compute has taken center stage (FLOPS is a common measurement of CPU performance and stands for “floating point operations per second”). In our Opening Day Wrap-Up we highlight the Top 3 non-AI automotive announcements before giving our analysis and thoughts on the AI takeover. Tuesday morning was also the public launch of 4S Mobility - a new collaborative, non-for-profit platform with the goal of putting consumers, rather than technology, at the forefront of automotive innovation and decision-making.
CES Day 2: Automotive Superlatives, Spotlights and Stock Prices
In our final edition of SBD's CES 2025 Daily Wrap-Ups our team has walked dozens of miles, taken tens of thousands of steps and hundreds of photos to bring you all we can from the show.
After a collective 140+ hours of time across our team attending CES this year (still not enough time to see everything!), we wanted to highlight some hidden gems from the expo hall, award some superlatives, and assess how prominent trends from 2024 are faring this year.
