Andrew Hart - Series Host
Director of SBD Labs (Advanced R&D Division)
Andrew Hart has 15 years of experience within the automotive industry. During this time, he has worked alongside various car makers in Japan, Europe and USA, advising them on how to successfully deploy connected car services. In 2014, Andrew moved to the USA to set up SBD’s North America offices, and led the team until his return in 2015. He now runs SBD Labs – an innovation team focused on SaaS-based products. He regularly keynotes at international conferences around the world about the future direction of the industry.
Head of Connected Research
Lee leads SBD Automotive’s global connected car team, having joined the company in 2013. Prior to joining SBD, he held strategic product management positions at high growth fleet management & telematics companies, infotainment R&D roles at Nissan, and product definition roles in the telecoms sector. Since joining SBD, Lee has applied SBD’s collective experience as well as his own to numerous client projects ranging from OEM partner selection, tier1 market entry, solution commercialization and program launch engagements.
Dr. Alain Dunoyer
Head of Autonomous Research
Alain completed his PhD in Control Systems Engineering before joining Jaguar Land Rover as a control system engineer. He later became a research technical specialist in sensor systems, where he was responsible for the early development of a number of driving assistance systems. At SBD, he is responsible for the Autonomous Car division where he guides and manages the Research and Consulting Division, providing recommendations to SBD’s clients on defining and implementing their ADAS strategies.
Head of Shared Mobility
SBD’s Connected Car lead for North America, Mo has a wealth of knowledge and experience in vehicle connectivity and advanced functionality. Mo is SBD’s lead specialist in mobility and is involved in the scoping, planning and execution of consumer-based mobility studies to support our clients in taking advantage of the business opportunities these new business models are creating. He has supported many of the largest US automotive companies with strategic analysis and detailed research support for topics across the connected vehicle, from detailed component benchmarking to modeling the user experience. As the lead for SBD’s quarterly “Mobility Guide” for Europe and North America, Mo sets the direction for one of the industry’s leading resources for tracking mobility services and solutions.
Head of EV Research
Robert began his career after completing his degree in electrical engineering. Prior to joining SBD in early 2017, he worked for Honda in Ohio for 15 years in the Product Engineering division. Highlights from his career include leading the implementation of Honda’s hybrid powertrains for North America, being chosen as a key project leader for the Acura TLX and NSX, and leading the Infotainment engineering team. Since joining SBD as a key member of the Connected Car and EV teams, he has led large projects for many OEMs and tier 1s, and is now based in SBD Automotive Germany's Munich office.
Head of Car IT Research
Lead author of the Automotive Operating Systems research report
Alex is responsible for SBD’s information technology consulting practice, helping automotive companies globally manage an increasingly complex connected vehicle ecosystem including automotive cybersecurity strategies. He works with SBD’s clients on a variety of technology initiatives, ranging from sourcing support and requirements analysis to telematics architecture and development. Prior to joining SBD, Alex was a solution architect for Sprint Velocity.
