In episode 5 of CASE Studies, host Andrew Hart is joined by Robert Fisher of SBD Germany to discuss the EV strategies of OEMs, consumer concerns, and the best (and worst) EV user experiences.
Andrew Hart - Series Host Director of SBD Labs (Advanced R&D Division) Andrew Hart has 15 years of experience within the automotive industry. During this time, he has worked alongside various car makers in Japan, Europe and USA, advising them on how to successfully deploy connected car services. In 2014, Andrew moved to the USA to set up SBD’s North America offices, and led the team until his return in 2015. He now runs SBD Labs – an innovation team focused on SaaS-based products. He regularly keynotes at international conferences around the world about the future direction of the industry.
Robert Fisher Head of EV Research
Robert began his career after completing his degree in electrical engineering. Prior to joining SBD in early 2017, he worked for Honda in Ohio for 15 years in the Product Engineering division. Highlights from his career include leading the implementation of Honda’s hybrid powertrains for North America, being chosen as a key project leader for the Acura TLX and NSX, and leading the Infotainment engineering team. Since joining SBD as a key member of the Connected Car and EV teams, he has led large projects for many OEMs and tier 1s, and is now based in SBD Automotive Germany's Munich office.
