Andrew Hart - Series Host
Director of SBD Labs (Advanced R&D Division) 

Andrew Hart has 15 years of experience within the automotive industry. During this time, he has worked alongside various car makers in Japan, Europe and USA, advising them on how to successfully deploy connected car services. In 2014, Andrew moved to the USA to set up SBD’s North America offices, and led the team until his return in 2015. He now runs SBD Labs – an innovation team focused on SaaS-based products. He regularly keynotes at international conferences around the world about the future direction of the industry.


Lee Colman
Head of Connected Research 

Lee leads SBD Automotive’s global connected car team, ​having joined the company in 2013. Prior to joining SBD, he held strategic product management positions at high growth fleet management & telematics companies, infotainment R&D roles at Nissan, and product definition roles in the telecoms sector. Since joining SBD, Lee has applied SBD’s collective experience as well as his own to numerous client projects ranging from OEM partner selection, tier1 market entry, solution commercialization and program launch engagements. 

Jack Palmer
Connected Car Senior Specialist 

 Jack started his career by holding advisory positions in the UK’s Parliament. Since joining SBD, Jack has become the company's lead specialist on the utilization of vehicle data, weighing up the proceeds that OEMs can gain from connected car use cases with the need to manage data privacy and access carefully. Jack splits his time between consultancy projects and contributing to SBD’s catalogue products – having recently authored the company’s “Automotive Virtual Personal Assistants” and “Data Monetization Strategies for the Connected Car” Reports.
